If you are absent, the work you missed will have to be made up. If you are gone only one day, you can get the assignments when you come back to school.
If you are going to be gone for a longer period of time get your homework assignments via email or phone and check to see if
there are any classroom projects you can work on at home. When you return you may have to make up assignments missed in class during recess or take them home as extra homework.
If your family is going on a vacation during the school year, these absences are considered unexcused unless the principal has approved them in advance. Make sure you call Mr. Vogel and get a vacation approved prior to going because unexcused absences affect homework and assignment grades.
It is YOUR responsibility to make sure everything is completed and to ask if you have questions regarding an assignment you have missed.
