You will always know when an assignment is due by checking your daily planner and/or this blog. It is your job to write all assignments into your planner and to make sure you meet that due date.
If you are having difficulty, whether it is on a daily assignment or a large project, make sure you ask for support. Due dates can 
be flexible when you communicate a problem ahead of time.
However, if you do not ask for support, or wait until the last minute to talk to the teacher, the due date will be firm. This means that when the assignment is turned in, it will be late and the grade will be effected.
If a pattern of late work develops, parents will be notified.
